Ok, so several of you got random pictures last weekend. All of you asked where the pictures came from. So I just can't tell you... Maybe if I give a few more pictures here, it will help out..

So no worries. Got the winch out, got the intern to the top, he put on a some clean underwear, and life was back to normal.

All and all, it was good time. The intern came out of it with just a little bit of scraps on his front right fender flare.

In the works

So its has been a busy couple of weeks. I really haven't spent much time at the house at all. During the beginning of May we put a lift on Ryan's jeep. Pretty much anytime I wasn't at work I was with Matt and Ryan. A week ago I was swamped at work. I left my house at 4 AM Monday morning and by the time a got back about 7 PM on Friday, I'd only spent about 15 hrs at my house throughout the week. Then I was down in Houston this past week, got back yesterday afternoon... just to be going back down there Friday (have to go say bye bye to Matt).

Other than that it just been busy at work. My week in Houston was pretty boring. I'm glad I'm finally done with Engineering Academy.

Sun up on Sunday

Well, I got called out to a rig last night at about Midnight... so I'm privileged to get to watch the sun come out this morning out on the rig! Its been a while since I've gotten to do so. However, I spent all week looking forward to sleeping in this morning. Hhmmm, I went from sleeping in, to no sleeping at all; something doesn't sound right, oh wait, i'm a DRILLER!


Besides, they didn't name me tweak for nothing.
It has been a couple of pretty busy weeks. They only TV I have watched the last 2 weeks, was this Monday's night episode of Big Bang Theory, which was as good as usual. A lot of work, the gym, and a little play.

I am kinda glad to say I still have a roommate. Matt signed and closed on their house the 9th. So we moved his stuff over that night, only to move it back on Sunday. Matt will be waiting to "move in" with Jessi. What a sweet future husband.

We have also been taking out Ryan's Jeep (he finally got it). It has been a blast.

Last weekend we took out the quads and the jeep. Yesterday we just took out the jeep. We are all pretty excited for the lift kit, tires, and rims to come in sometime this week.

New Gig

Well, its been a pretty rough week. I took the week off to hang out with Nik and Michelle!!!! It was great to have some visitors at Tolman's Resort; might I add: its an extremely CHEAP place to stay. I think we all had a good time: lots of good food, PS3, movies, quading, shopping, and even a little cultural education can make for an excellent time. Except, I must admit, I am a supper bum... I didn't even get 1 picture.

So for those that aren't aware, I am (actually, already have) starting a new job. I will no longer be rotating on/off the rigs for my 2 week hitches. My new position is "field engineer", I'll let you know what I'll be doing as soon as a finish writing my job description. I'll be working on a few projects while providing rig support to all of our rigs here in the basin. I am actually looking forward to it. I really do enjoy my 2/2 schedule, but it was time for a change. Especially since I want to continue to progress and move my career further down the road, it is a good change. It will be rough not having my 2 weeks off at a time, but it will be nice to have a normal schedule.

Because of the normal schedule, I have been busy in my back yard planting a garden!!!!! I have been taking a few pictures, I'll work on getting those uploaded.

Well I hope all is doing. I also hope that maybe someone will want to come and enjoy the great times down at Tolman's Resort... (just as a reminder, this is a BYP establishment (Bring Your Pillow).

So I finally got some pictures as promised. I was just going to add them to the old post, but I figured I'd put them on a new post, that way it looks like I have another post.

Back at the Chamba

Well, I'm back at it again. Its amazing how quick 2 weeks can go by. But I must say, it has defiantly was a busy one. Got lots done around the house: got my new nerf bars installed on Kit, fixed the leaking valve under the house (I'm excited to see me next water bill; it better be back to normal), I finally unpacked a bit more, got a couple more boxes out of the house, finished painting the base board in the little hall way/x-way, built a sweet little bookcase type thing to hold dvds/blue rays/video games (its pretty sweet, it matches my totally completely awesome tv stand I made), and I know longer have a skwiquing front door!

So it was a pretty good 2 weeks. I made it out on the Kitty one day (had to try out the new nerf bars). I even got to enjoy glass of lemonade and fries at Chick-fila. Thanks for the introduction April! I guess going to the temple was the highlight of the day, stopping at Chick-fila on the way home was just a benefit. I went down to Albq to go to the temple. It was really nice, I haven't been for a while. I had to laugh though, there definantly wasn't anyone in the session that wasn't at least twice as old as me; and I don't know if I saw anyone in the temple that was much younger than twice as old as me. It defiantly make me feel young!

Well I better get back to work. I'll have to get some pics up later.
