Well, got my first dosage of South Texas whitetail hunting in... and man is it completely different then anything up north. Feeders, blinds, corn, guides are all words I never eve heard of. Although it is completely different, we still had a blast. And at the end of the day, it gave us a weekend out of the concrete jungle and put meat in the freezer.
PLUS who can complain about getting to shoo their (and even better yet seeing their son) shoot their first buck!
150 yards out w/ a .243. Great shot bud!

Snow is coming
We made my favorite trip of the year, Imogene Pass in the fall time. We went up the 1st weekend of October. And although we were probably a week late to catch the bright colors between Durango and Silverton, there was lots and lots of colors to see. Ended up witih 6 rzr's making the trip. It was super chilly up on top, yet a great day!

The snow is melted!
Well, the snow is melting; which means the mountains roads are opening!!!!!!!
Went up above Manos Memorial day and took the quads out. It was a great day to be on Kitty. (Just don't tell Kaci that I was getting dirty with another girl.)
This weekend we made it up above Sliverton and did Cinnamon Pass and California Pass. We tried to drop down into Pauk Gultch, but had too much snow. The worst part of the trip was I lost my hat while ontop of California Pass. I climbed down the mountain face for a while. It was a good trip though.
