3rd grade

Another summer come and gone.  Now off to 3rd grade!!!

Offshore in ND????

So I left 2 weeks of rain in Houston during days-off; only to encounter the rain in ND as well.  I didn't realize I was signing up for offshore....

Other than a bit of rain a couple of nights, its pretty hard to complain about our current location!

Guy Night

Well,  mama ran up to girls camp for the night so we got to have a Guy's night!  The night included Bass Pro Shop, Igloo Factory Store, and Gander Mountain, and dinner.

Does dinner get any more manly than that???

First Hunt

Well, got my first dosage of South Texas whitetail hunting in... and man is it completely different then anything up north.  Feeders, blinds, corn, guides are all words I never eve heard of.   Although it is completely different, we still had a blast.  And at the end of the day, it gave us a weekend out of the concrete jungle and put meat in the freezer.

PLUS who can complain about getting to shoo their (and even better yet seeing their son) shoot their first buck!

Guys Night Out

Had a guys night Friday.  Went and watched Big Hero 6 with both Shawne's friend James and my friend James.  Afterwords went to 5 guys with the Naranjos. 

Based on the drive home, I would call it a success!!!!

Moab 2013

We did it!!!  2+ days all by ourselves (if you don't count Kelly) and Kaci still came home with me!!!   We took a long weekend and spent sometime up in Moab.  A good time had by all!
