November Trips

Well its been a busy November... school is getting old; so I have been taking Kate out a lot. Went out to homestake a couple of times. Then on the way home for Thanksgiving we made a trip into the cabin. It was a cold day.. but finally by about 11 or so, i finally had the cabin warmed up enough that I couldn't see my breath.






To bad there ain't any snow: Well there was some snow at the highway, may 6" or so. Stayed that way till the creek. The further in you went, the less snow there was.

I'm just ready for the next adventure!!!

I hat a date saturday mourning. I went up to an old granite quarry, up in the mountains. I guess before concrete, this is where Butte got all the granite for buildings.

Bourbon Street / New Orleans

This place is freaking crazy... New Orleans is difinantly a different place than the Rockies. I can't believe how much water there is. And I must say, Salt water fishing is pretty fun. I went out yesterday and did a little fishing. We ended up heading out to a bunch of platforms and fishing of an older one. Caught a lot of fish and fried them up for dinner. (the actually wasn't even that bad)Oh yeah a few pictures of the fishing:

The Woodlands

So I still haven't figured out why they call this place The Woodlands. It was been great so far. The presentation was yesterday and all went well. The symposium has been pretty informational.

Another Break!!!

Well, I almost made it to all of my classes this week. I think it is time for another break!!! So maybe we will go see what the south is all about.

ATCE

Well, i'm playing catch up now. Last week a was down at ATCE. It was fun. I had lunch with Nik, Zach, and Bri. Had lunch with Uncle Gordon and aunt Kay. Meet up with a couple of old friends from Mines. Oh and last but not least ... ATCE was great. I was able to see a lot of cool technologies and new things. Had a couple of good meals and spent a couple nights out on the town.

Where is Bumble Bee?

So i'm sadden... I went home over Labor day to see the padres. Well trailer #1, #2, and #3 all fell through on me, so I didn't have a trailer to bring my jeep up. I really didn't want to pull it up, its a long way... so I just left it in Riverton. Now I'm sad, cause its not around to drive. It has been like upper 70's this week, and my jeep is no where to be found.

So I guess the moral of the story is... I need to buy me a trailer!!!!f
