Well I must admit, I have been planchando big time. Heck its been like what...May 1st... that I have been on last. And I haven't even shared anything about the new lady (you will have to wait till the end).

Summer has been super busy. I did make a trip home and got to see the entire klan...lets just say there was lots of little things running around. Glad to see the grand kids.

Weekends I am not working, I have been up above Silverton playing up in the mountains. Lots of miles on dirt road... Hiked a 14K+ peak.

So I guess you all are anxious to hear about the new lady...

Me (to be continued)

So hopefully this helps those of you out there that don't know me. I wanted to do something that even though you may live like 1260 miles away, you can get to know me just a little bit better. So I have two parts: (1) A small little paragraph describing me and (2) A few pictures that describe (or at least I think they describe me) me and who I am.

------------------------------------

Part 1:

So I am a small town country boy from Wyoming. I am pretty simple and like to keep things real. I put holes in the ground for a living and love what I do (Yes I am oil field trash). I really am just a boy that still is trying to grow up. I love to play with toys (I just have bigger ones now than I had when I was little).

Part 2:

High on Life / Living Large

A phrase or two that describes me would be "High on Life" or "Living Large". Each day I wake up above on the right side of the ground (above ground) is a great day; another day to enjoy life and enjoy all that I can.

Bachelor Pad

So here are a few pics of my house that describe a few things about me. And while you are checking out the pics you can check out my sweet interior design abilities I have.
Check out them sweet self-made curtains (oh wait, you can't see them they are camouflaged). They work great at keeping the light out and peekers from looking in.

Wow, I even have art work.

Like my dressers? I think that has to be about the sweetest ones around. Good luck finding something better.

A garage full of toys (Kelly and Kit). They get to sleep in side.

And last, a living room full of important stuff: gun, back pack, coolers, boots, ammo cans (storage), gps, binoculars, jerry cans for Ryan's Jeep, K&N oil filters... just a bit of everything.

A Soft Heart

So I am no John Wayne, but i do think I am pretty rough and tough... but my mom always tells me I have a soft heart. I don't really know where she gets that from. I do have to admit I do have a heart and there are a couple of things that get to it. The nieces and nephews definitely make that list.

-----------------------------------------

So there you go. That's for you... there will be more to follow, when I get the chance.

Working with the toys!!!

Whats a boy suppose to do in Farmington on a Friday night??? Well, now that I am actually home, I guess its time to do a little yard work.... or should I say PLAY in the yard! I guess it just gives me an excuse to bring out the toys.... Yes I do admit, I am just big boy with big boy toys! Well, I guess I better not limit all the fun to just one toy...
Got to love them toys.

The Newbie II : TED

So isn't it great not having a wife to tell me no! I guess if I had one, I just wouldn't have to listen to her... Anyways, my side rails came in. I only have the front stepsp on right now, so you can see what it looks like with the steps on and kinda what it looks like with just the rails on.

Moab (a bit late)

Well I was a bit late with these, but here are a few more pictures from our trip up to Moab.
The "Gang" (on Saturday)
"Lions Back"
"Hell's Revenge"

The rides (Friday morn)

It ended up being a great weekend. Had lots of fun and great weather (mid-20's morning time warming up to mid 40's during the day). Trails were pretty much ours. Didn't get to do Hell's Revenge all the way, got about 1.5 miles in and hit a little south facing ridge of slick rock: a slight slant (sloping towards a 30' - 40' drop off), a rock face on the other side (which allowed no sun), and about 1-1/2" of unmelted snow on the rock. So we decided to turn around.

Great day bay all!

Moab II

Whats up all? Ok, so I have been a slacker lately when it comes to my blog.. so while I'm just kickin it in the hotel room I figure I could at least put something up.

Came up to Moab yesterday to play for a couple days.... Ryan, Hay, Matt, and Jessi all came up yesterday. It was a good day. Steel Bender will be a great trail for them hot summer days! Didn't get any ping-pongin in.... The dirt was to moist, so it would stick to your tires and make them slick on the rocks. We will have to see what today brings!

A little warm up for Kelly!
